‘Startup Weekend’ (9/25-9/27) Gives Teens Crash Course in Building a Start Up Business

*Does your teen want an opportunity to learn about building a business?Does he or she aim to be an entrepreneur one day?

Is this weekend too soon?

This sounds like an amazing opportunity for them to start work on that dream business. Over a three-day period your teen will get a crash course in building a startup in Los Angeles; along with the opportunity to pitch their business to a panel of business owners.

And it all begins on Friday, September 25.

“I think everyone has ideas. I think everyone to some degree is an innovator, says App founder, Ronan Levy, a successful entrepreneur with several businesses of diverse natures. “But an entrepreneur is someone who takes that idea and acts upon it and tries to execute upon it.”

Organized by a team of successful, volunteer community leaders, the weekend will include a panel of speakers and the students will be mentored and coached by a team of professionals from a variety of small businesses, agencies and companies.

Startup Weekend is a 54 hour event that brings together Los Angeles designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all domains to do amazing things.
